Draft lineup for June 15

CraftBeerSpot Hathor, a beer pub in Kyobashi, Osaka, runs 16 taps and also serves house-smoked food. In its June 15 post, the bar opened Snow Monkey IPA Silver Label Ver / Shiga Kogen Beer. The beer is described as a bright blond ale with light haze, built on Low Color Maris Otter and pilsner malt with a touch of oats and wheat. It uses two special New Zealand hops and two American varieties, delivering grapefruit-like citrus notes with lychee and white-peach-like tropical character. The bitterness is firm, but the finish stays light and dry.

Recommended pours

The day’s recommendations are Tono no Kaze / Good Hops and Live Current IPA / Stone. Tono no Kaze is a 100% Tono-grown hop IPA featuring Good Hops’ own new variety, No Wind, plus Tono-grown Magnum. It is presented as a fresh, fruit-forward beer with green apple and pear notes. Live Current IPA combines Mosaic, Amarillo, and Nectaron, bringing tropical fruit, peach, citrus, and a dank edge into one hop-driven pour.

The wider lineup spans multiple styles. Lagers include Sunglider / Firestone Walker, Black Label / Sapporo Beer, and Hopping Shachi / Y.Market.
