Beer Stand Amber Rondo in Sendai closes its Special Weekend on June 14 with 10 draft beers and garlic shrimp

Beer Stand Amber Rondo, a beer pub in Honcho, Sendai, is holding the final day of its Special Weekend on June 14. The venue relocated from Kokubuncho, and service on this day begins at 3:00 PM.
The main food event is a collaboration with Sendai Kuroku and Saryu. Chef Aota Gen is taking over the kitchen and recreating a Hawaiian-style garlic shrimp dish. The menu also includes a Saryu appetizer platter, char siu, garlic edamame, and a mini keema curry with snap peas and tomatoes from Miura Farm, all of which are easy pairings for beer.
On tap, the lineup spans 10 beers: Kirin Ichiban Shibori Premium, Makikaze Ale from Ishinomaki Hops Works, Chili Break Water from Ishinomaki Hops Works and T.Y.HARBOR Brewery, DDH WC DIPA and Everyday IPA from Great Dane Brewing, SiX ESB from Black Tide Brewing, Juicy Pink from Black Tide Brewing and Hop Kotan Brewing, Aventinus from Schneider Weisse, Space Dream from Other Half Brewing, and Kellerbier from Riegele.
An 18th anniversary thank-you campaign also runs through June 14, offering 18% off select Ishinomaki Hops Works draft beer, Schneider Weisse and Riegele bottled and draft beers, and Amber Rondo gyoza. The large gyoza set is priced at 580 yen for four pieces, making the bar's draft-heavy lineup even more approachable.
