Tap List for April 2

15brewery (Fifteen Brewery), located in Hayama Town, Miura District, Kanagawa Prefecture, posted an Instagram entry titled '<Under the Full Bloom of the Cherry Blossom Forest>' and announced its lineup for takeout sales on Thursday, April 2. At present, the standing-drink area is closed, and only by-the-measure sales are available. Beer is sold filled to the brim in sealable bottles brought by customers, and carbonated PET bottles and glass bottles with screw caps are also accepted.

The taps for the day featured five beers with clearly different flavor directions.

- Bottom of the Swamp: A Belgian-style beer made with plenty of wheat malt, combined with orange peel, coriander seed, chamomile, cloves, lime from Owase, Mie Prefecture, and honey from Hachigoya in Nagai, Yokosuka City. The design layers sweetness, acidity, and spice.
- Stout: A black beer that puts deep richness and darkness front and center.
- Orange Ale: A fruit beer characterized by a rich aroma and acidity derived from daidai orange.
- Wheat Land: A light, easy-drinking beer made by adding plenty of wheat malt to barley malt and aromatizing it with hops that have a white-wine-like fragrance. Uses baguettes from Miura Bakery Mitsumugi.
- Raw Hazy IPA: An IPA made using the Raw Ale method, which does not boil the wort. Its hallmarks are hop aromas and bitterness reminiscent of citrus and pine needles. This one also uses baguettes from Miura Bakery Mitsumugi.

As a brewery in Hayama, 15brewery continues to make beer that incorporates local ingredients and food culture. In this post as well, two beers made with baguettes from a local bakery were listed alongside distinctive beer names, showing both the flavor design and the connection to the land. Anyone looking to take craft beer home from the Hayama area should check the business hours in advance.
