Yokohama Beer Brewery will host a TYSON PIZZA popup on the first floor of "Yokohama Beer Stand" in Sumiyoshi-cho, Naka Ward, Yokohama City, on Saturday, May 2, from 12:00 to 20:00. Service will end once items sell out, so arriving early is the safest bet.

TYSON PIZZA is a pizza artisan from Kumamoto who mainly appears at events and catering setups across the Kanto area. Their pizzas are baked in an oven at about 400°C, and are known for a fragrant crust and a chewy center. It is a pizza that makes the most of its ingredients and can be enjoyed together with beer.

This time, Yorocco Beer from the Shonan area will also appear as a guest tap. According to the announcement, offerings will include the regularly brewed "Hometown Stout (ABV 4.5%)", which is being served to commemorate the opening of a taproom in Ofuna, plus two other varieties. It is an event where the combination of pizza and craft beer can be enjoyed in a one-day-only style.

Yokohama Beer Brewery began brewing on July 1, 1999, and has long continued brewing in Yokohama, the birthplace of beer in Japan. At the brewery’s attached main restaurant, "UMAYA," another attraction is being able to enjoy fresh beer while looking out at the tanks. This popup is a regionally rooted project that feels very much in line with a brewery that has focused on local ingredients and craft beer.
