Y.MARKET's Minamichita Blood Orange IPA and More on Tap at Extra Hop in Oita
The craft beer pub Extra Hop in Chuo-cho, Oita City, announced Y.MARKET BREWING's "Minamichita Blood Orange," karuizawa Q's "Under the Lights," and a Pilsner from Yokohama Bay. The standing-room-focused bar continues to rotate guest beers.
The craft beer pub Extra Hop, located in Chuo-cho 2-chome, Oita City, posted an update on April 11 about its guest beer lineup. The three beers introduced this time were Y.MARKET BREWING's "Minamichita Blood Orange", karuizawa Q's "Under the Lights", and a Pilsner from Yokohama Bay.
Y.MARKET BREWING's beer was introduced in the post as an "annual Blood Orange IPA," and it was already down to about half remaining. It reads as a fruity beer with citrusy aromatics, making it a good match for the increasingly warm season. karuizawa Q's "Under the Lights" is a light stout made with oats. It is being presented as a soft-drinking dark beer that fits the seasonal transition from winter to spring.
Meanwhile, Yokohama Bay's Pilsner was said to be in the "late stages already," so if you are after a crisp lager, it seems worth checking out soon. Extra Hop operates as a standing bar and does not serve wine or soft drinks. They ask each customer to order "1 Beer & 1 Food," and food is paid for in cash in advance, separate from the beer bill. Reservations are not accepted, making it a place well suited to dropping in casually while following the tap rotation.
In addition, a collaboration event with Le TAMAÏ is being held from April 9 to 12. There is also a notice that lunch will be temporarily closed on Wednesday, April 15, so it would be wise to check the latest in-store information before visiting.
