WORLD BEER&DINING MIHAMA BASE in Inagekaigan has opened its first peach Weizen of the year: Minoh Beer’s Peach Weizen (Wase Ver.). Brewed as a Weizen at 5.0% ABV and 12 IBU, it layers clove- and banana-like notes from the yeast with a vivid peach aroma. The brewery describes it as dry and crisp, with no lingering sweetness.
MIHAMA BASE is a craft-beer-focused spot that also offers bottle and can takeout. On the draft list for the day were GUINNESS, KIRIN HEARTLAND, Hoegaarden White, Sierra Nevada Hoptimum, Pizza Port Summer Sunlight IPA, West Coast Brewing Beach Day, TopaTopa Chief Peak IPA, and Karl Strauss 37th Anniversary Golden Ale with Coffee. The lineup ranges from familiar lagers to high-ABV IPAs and a coffee-infused golden ale, making it easy to compare styles side by side.
The bar is open from 5:00 p.m. to 1:00 a.m., with food last order at midnight and drink last order at 12:30 a.m. For beer fans in Chiba, it’s a solid place to catch a seasonal fruit beer and a broad guest-beer selection in one stop.
