Master-and-apprentice breweries share the stage on Omishima

Omishima Brewery will exhibit at "BEER CUBE OMISHIMA 2026," held at WAKKA (Iguchi, Kamiumi Town, Imabari City, Ehime Prefecture) on Saturday, June 13 and Sunday, June 14, 2026. This event is being introduced as a joint appearance by Minoh Beer and Omishima Brewery in a "master-and-apprentice brewery" pairing, and on both days it will run from 11:00 to 17:00 (L.O. 16:30), with reception opening at 10:30. Advance tickets cost 3,000 yen per set and include five 600-yen beer tickets and an original Tritan glass (10 oz).

Omishima Brewery is a small brewpub run by a husband-and-wife team on Omishima, in the center of the Shimanami Kaido. Its signature is well-balanced beer that makes you want to keep drinking, starting with fruity beers made with citrus. The lineup available at the counter includes Blond Ale, IPA, Coffee Pale ~Munimal Cafe ver.~, White Ale, and Belgian Ale, along with Stout, Pale Ale, and Cacao Black.

Particularly appealing are the White Ale flavored with pesticide-free citrus grown on Omishima and the IPA with its sharp hop bitterness and aroma. If you want something light to start with, choose the Blond Ale; if you want to savor it slowly, go for the Stout or Cacao Black. It is a lineup that makes it easy to pick based on your mood. As a brewpub, it values freshness, and it also supports takeout in 500 ml plastic bottles and counter sales by weight with a growler you bring yourself.

At the WAKKA venue, beer tickets can also be used to buy food. In other words, it is an experience you can enjoy not only for the beer, but also together with the scenery of Shimanami and your stay there. The more familiar you are with Omishima Brewery's core beers, the more interested you will likely be in trying them side by side at the event.
