Awashima Soko Reveals April 18 Tap List: 5 Kegs Including YOROCCO and Nara Brewing
The beer pub Awashima Soko in Daizawa, Setagaya Ward, Tokyo, has released its tap list for April 18. Five labels from YOROCCO, FARMENTRY, Mugi Zakkoku Kobo, and Nara Brewing are on tap, and with Saturday opening at 3:00 p.m., it is a lineup you can enjoy from early in the day.
On April 18, Awashima Soko shared the tap list for the day. The post noted Saturday business hours of 15:00-23:00, with food last order at 22:00 and drinks last order at 22:30, making it a place where you can start drinking at a relaxed pace before evening. It also mentioned that "myoga has appeared in the pickles" and that there are "a few beers that may be running low?" conveying the warm, lived-in feel of the bar, including the speed at which snacks and casks move.
The day's taps featured the following five beers:
- YOROCCO / Shunrai (Hoppy Saison)
- FARMENTRY / New Zealand Pilsner (Pilsner)
- Mugi Zakkoku Kobo / Irodori Saison Dark Citrus (Dark Saison)
- YOROCCO / Cultivator (Hoppy Belgian Pale Ale)
- Nara Brewing / CHARM (Hazy IPA)
With two saisons, one pilsner, plus a hoppy Belgian pale ale and a hazy IPA, the lineup is designed to offer both brightness and drinkability. From crisp lager-like styles to beers with more pronounced aroma and hop character, it is the kind of list that makes even choosing your first glass feel like a pleasant dilemma.
Awashima Soko is a beer pub located at 4-34-12 Daizawa, Setagaya Ward, Tokyo. It is known as a cozy space along Awashima-dori where you can calmly enjoy rotating craft beers on tap. Rather than a place for large, boisterous groups, it is better suited to savoring each glass while checking out the day's kegs across the counter. This post, too, was the kind that lets you vividly imagine what to drink on a spring Saturday.
