Tsukuba Brewery announces August event lineup from Tsukuba to Iwate
Tsukuba Brewery has shared its August event schedule on Instagram, starting with Tsukuba Kids Bon Odori on August 1 and continuing through Sendai, Ichinoseki, and the hometown Matsuri Tsukuba later in the month.
August lineup
Tsukuba Brewery, based in Tsukuba, Ibaraki, posted its August event schedule on Instagram. The lineup begins with Tsukuba Kids Bon Odori on August 1 at Kenkyu-gakuen Station Front Park, followed by the Sendai Craft Beer Festival from August 14 to 16 at Miyagi Prefectural Office, the National Beer Festival in Ichinoseki from August 21 to 23 at the Ichinoseki Cultural Center, and MATSURI TSUKUBA 2026 on August 22 and 23 at Tsukuba Center Square and the Central Library area.
The brewery was launched in 2020, when Tsukuba City had no craft brewery of its own, and opened a new brewery in the foothills of Mount Tsukuba in spring 2024. That background helps explain why its schedule mixes hometown events with appearances outside the prefecture: the brand remains closely tied to Tsukuba, but its beer is increasingly being carried to wider stages.
For beer fans, the post works as a concise August roadmap. It shows where to find the brewery during late-summer events and how its local identity travels with it from Tsukuba to Sendai, Ichinoseki, and back home again.
