A limited beer built for post-sauna refreshment

Yokohama Beer Brewery, based in Yokohama, Kanagawa, has launched its seasonal `Yokohama Satabi Beer - Brut Pale Ale -` on August 1. The brewery's official Instagram also announced the start of the `Yokohama Satabi BINGO Stamp Rally` on the same day, making this more than a product release: it is a city-wide experience designed around movement through Yokohama.

A dry, crisp Brut Pale Ale

The beer is positioned as a refreshing `Brut Pale Ale` meant to pair with the feeling after a sauna session. In earlier official descriptions, the brewery highlighted Nelson Sauvin hops, which bring a white-grape-like aroma, along with a dry finish and bright fragrance. The idea is simple: something light enough after sweating it out, but expressive enough to feel like a proper reward.

A beer that invites you to explore Yokohama

The broader `Yokohama Satabi` project connects saunas, local food, beer, and sightseeing into one route through the city. Rather than treating beer as a standalone novelty, the project turns it into a reason to move around Yokohama and discover different stops along the way. For summer travel, that makes the release feel rooted in place, not just in season.

About Yokohama Beer

Yokohama Beer Brewery began brewing in 1999 and describes itself as the city's longest-running local beer company. That background matters here: the brewery has long focused on products that connect with local food culture and neighborhood life. This release follows that same approach, linking a limited beer with the sauna and tourism culture of Yokohama.

For beer fans, it is a neat example of how a brewery can turn a summer release into a local tour.
