Hop Japan, which operates Miyakoji Hop Garden Brewery in Tamura City, Fukushima Prefecture, will release its limited beer "Head to sea" on May 22. It was sold out last time as its popularity grew, and is now making a return ahead of this summer.

The style is Cold IPA. With an ABV of 5.5% and an IBU of 41, it is designed to combine hop aromas with a refreshing lemon, lime, and pine resin character, along with malt-derived crispness and a clean finish. The key aromatic ingredient is Centennial fresh hops grown in Tamura City, giving the beer a distinct personality within its light, easy-drinking profile.

Hop Japan is a brewery in Tamura City, Fukushima Prefecture, that makes craft beer using hops grown on its own farms. By making use of the former Green Park Miyakoji facility, it has continued brewing that is closely tied to the local landscape and agriculture. Its identity lies not only in releasing new beers, but also in centering product development on how to make the most of the area's hops.

On the release day, a revival commemorative event is also planned at the Hop Japan Koriyama branch beer restaurant. Because no reservation is required, it is easy to drop by after work or for a weekend drink. Paired with the limited-edition pizza, this is a beer to enjoy as a pre-summer pint.
