Miyakoji Hop Garden Brewery, based in Tamura, Fukushima, has started recruiting participants for Hop Harvest Support 2026. The event will run for three days, from August 7 to 9, 2026, at the Wasegawa Hop Farm in Tamura City.

According to the brewery's official announcement, each day offers both a morning and an afternoon session, and advance reservation is required. Participation is free of charge. If the weather turns bad, the program will switch from harvest work to a brewery tour.

The participant benefits are closely tied to the brewery's hop-focused identity. Guests will receive fresh hops harvested on site, and for every 1 kilogram of hops harvested, they will be given one bottle of Hop Japan craft beer. The event is designed not only as a farm experience, but also as a way to see the path from hop field to brewery.

Miyakoji Hop Garden Brewery is operated by Hop Japan. The brewery opened in 2020 after renovating Green Park Miyakoji in Tamura City, and it works across the full chain from hop cultivation to beer production. The company says its aim is to build a local cycle around craft beer and connect people, things, and experiences.

This year's recruitment again reflects that philosophy in a hands-on format. For beer fans, it is a chance to visit the field, pick hops, and better understand how local ingredients become beer. Applications began on June 15, and registration will close once capacity is reached.
