Today's Tap List

BEER CAFE GAMBRINUS, a 1-minute walk from the South Exit of Kokubunji Station, announced its lineup for May 23. Opened in 2007, the shop is a beer pub where you can enjoy 14 taps of draft craft beer with homemade dishes prepared by a Japanese cuisine chef. With 5 counter seats, 14 table seats, and a standing area, plus full non-smoking, no cover charge, and free Wi-Fi, it offers all the conditions for a relaxed drink.

The beers on tap that day began with Miyazaki Hideji Beer's 'Kemurihige Stout,' and also included U.B.P Brewery's 'Keyaki Forward [Hazy IPA],' DD4D's 'Buddha's Hands [Citrus Hazy IPA],' and Hop Kotan Brewing's 'Soma Orange [Botanical Lager],' among other beers with very different personalities. Hiroshima Neighborly's 'Hiroshima Lemon Sukatto Session IPA,' Shiga Kogen Beer's 'DPA [Pale Ale],' and Iwate Kura Beer's 'Weizen' and 'Raspberry Pink [Fruit Wheat Ale]' were also on the list, giving it a very wide flavor range.

The lineup was further rounded out by Fermentary's 'Grapy [Grape-Skin Contact Saison],' Ushitora's 'Ushitoraman Dyna [West Coast IPA],' Black Tide's 'Second Breath [IPA],' Michinoku Fukushimaji Beer's 'Red Ale [Irish Red Ale],' and even Pilsner Urquell. Built around Japanese craft beer while also covering the classic Czech pilsner, it is exactly the kind of lineup this place is known for.

Coming Soon

As the next beers in rotation, Number Nine's 'Dolce Vita [IPA],' Yokohama Bay Brewing's 'Steel Soul Fixie IPA [West Coast IPA],' and Oguna's 'Yamaso Hop [Fruit Beer]' and 'Amber Ale' have also been teased.
