At the brewpub Omishima Brewery in Omishima-cho, Imabari City, Ehime Prefecture, sales have begun for the second release of the collaboration craft beer 'Coffee Pale.' At the same time, the song 'Quiet Gurgling of Fermentation,' made from sounds collected on Omishima, has been streaming on various subscription services since April 12.

This track is an ambient piece that field-records the sounds of fermentation generated during Omishima Brewery's beer-making process, while also weaving in fragments of ambient sound that rang out at the end of the Sansuna Grand Festival, held to celebrate a bountiful harvest. It is a song that captures as sound the invisible fluctuations of fermentation and the thickness of time flowing through the island.

What beer fans will want to pay attention to is the second release of 'Coffee Pale,' which can be enjoyed alongside the music. Created in collaboration with munimal cafe, this glass can be enjoyed at Omishima Brewery. In a location where you can feel the island time of the Seto Inland Sea, the appeal of this place is that you can savor craft beer together with sounds that evoke the lingering aftertaste of fermentation.

Omishima Brewery is also a place where the atmosphere of Omishima and the island's memories are directly folded into the experience. When you visit the island, you will want to tilt a glass inside while enjoying not only the beer but also the sounds and scenery behind it.
