Omishima Brewery will take part in Barche, the night version of the Setouchi Minato Marche, on Saturday, July 11, at Haborry in Imabari. According to the Instagram post, the brewery will be set up in Area C from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. The June edition was canceled because of bad weather, so this will be the first Barche appearance of the season.

The stall will offer beer and bacon, and bottled takeaway will also be available for drivers. That makes the setup practical for both people who want to drink on site and those who prefer to take beer home and enjoy it later. The brewery’s home base on Omishima is also open as usual, with the post noting business hours until 7:30 p.m. last order.

Omishima Brewery is a small brewpub run by a couple on Omishima, near the center of the Shimanami Kaido route. Its beers are built around the island’s citrus character and are designed to be balanced and easy to keep drinking. The regular lineup listed on the brewery site includes five core beers:

- Blonde Ale: a clean, classic house beer, 5% ABV
- IPA: hop bitterness and aroma, 6% ABV
- Stout: a rich but easy-drinking dark beer, 6.5% ABV
- White Ale: citrus-driven and lightly bitter, 4.5% ABV
- Belgian Ale: fruity aromas from Belgian yeast, 5.5% ABV

The post does not name the exact beers poured at the event, but the brewery’s house lineup shows a range from bright, citrusy styles to darker, fuller-bodied pours. For beer fans in Imabari, it is a chance to catch Omishima’s island-made beer in a night-market setting and then, if needed, visit the brewery itself on the island another day.
