Mukuraf taps Sanktgallen's 'Whey Sour Strawberry', with six taps and a full bottle lineup
The beer pub Mukuraf in Morishita, Tokyo, announced that it had tapped Sanktgallen's 'Whey Sour Strawberry.' Inside, there are plenty of seats available, and bottled beers from West Coast Brewing and VERTERE are also on hand.
The beer pub Mukuraf in Shin-Ohashi, Koto Ward, Tokyo, updated its tap list just as signs of spring were starting to feel closer. The newly tapped beer announced in the post is Sanktgallen's 'Whey Sour Strawberry.' Made with plenty of strawberries and whey, a byproduct of cheese production, it features fruity acidity and a sweet-tart finish.
There are six taps on this day. Iwate Kura Beer's 'Sakura Arashi IPA', RePuBrew's 'HEARTS UP! 60', Open Air Brewing's 'hop viking', Y.MARKET BREWING's 'MASTERPIECE EXCEED', and GROUNDTAP BREWING's 'TSURUGI' are also on tap, creating a lineup that ranges widely from IPA to Hazy IPA and American IPA.
The bottled beer selection is also substantial. West Coast Brewing has 'Alive', 'Slow Motion', and 'McKenzie Pils'; GreenNeighbors has 'LA FRANCE', 'KYOUKA', 'SOUR TOKI ver', and 'KOGYOKU SINGLE'; VERTERE has 'Passiflora', '10th Grape Sour', 'Clusia', and 'Tillia'; GOODHOPS has 'Sorachi Ace Respect', 'The Season of Lupulin', 'MOTUEKA RESPECT', 'Blue Sky Hops', and 'Tono's Breath'; and Sierra Nevada has 'Cosmic Little Thing' and 'Pils'.
Mukuraf also appears to have plenty of seating available, and visits just to buy bottles are welcome. The food menu is broad as well, with items like fruit tomato bruschetta, horse meat tartare, liver cutlet, homemade sweets, and the classic omurice, making it an easy beer pub to use on a day when you want to drink slowly in Morishita. Takeout is accepted via LINE and phone, and reservations are also available.
