Announcement of the 8th Anniversary Project

In an Instagram post from Namacha’n Stand Shiinamachi, it was announced that NAMACHA’n Brewing will celebrate its 8th anniversary in April. The post, published on April 3, says that the special “Brewer WEEK” event will be held at the Otsuka location from Saturday, April 11 to Sunday, April 19. During the period, a total of six brewers will take turns working the counter as daily guest managers, offering a chance to enjoy beer while speaking directly with the people who make it.

Beers Available

The featured anniversary beer is “Hajimari no Lager.” Based on NAMACHA’n Brewing’s standard “Sunshine Lager,” it is a dry-hopped lager made with the “Mega Terps” hop blend from Freestyle Hops x Phantasm. It is said to feature aromas reminiscent of white grapes and tropical fruit, along with the crisp finish typical of a lager. As part of the anniversary-season activity, “Sunshine Lager (TALUS Ver.) (8th Batch)” from the same series has also been confirmed, showing how the brand continues to refine the range of its lagers in detail.

The Close Proximity That Defines a Brewpub

Namacha’n Stand Shiinamachi is a brewpub located in Nagasaki, Toshima Ward, Tokyo. True to the NAMACHA’n style of shops, where the brewery and drinkers are close together, this anniversary announcement is appealing not only because of what is in the beer, but also because you can see the faces of the people behind it. The post also mentions limited collaboration beers brewed with Gifu’s “CAMADO Brewery” and Iwate’s “Brew Beast,” showing that the anniversary event is not just a commemorative opening, but a crossroads where brewers meet and interact. Being able to learn about all of this from the Shiinamachi shop is one of the brand’s strengths.
