Tachinomi Beron to Hold a 2nd Anniversary Event
The beer pub "Tachinomi Beron" in Omachi, Aoba Ward, Sendai, will hold its 2nd anniversary festival from 13:00 to 23:00 on April 4. Admission is free and no reservation is required, so visitors can drop in casually and enjoy special anniversary beers in the same easygoing spirit as a standing bar.
The main attraction this time is the release of three original beers by Beron and Kankan. The lineup consists of "Bomber Hop", "Pear Pusher", and "Oolong Tea Kin-Mugi Beer", all brewed with the cooperation of breweries in Tohoku.
- Bomber Hop / GOOD HOPS (Tono, Iwate Prefecture)
- Pear Pusher / Yellow Beer Works (Fukushima City, Fukushima Prefecture)
- Oolong Tea Kin-Mugi Beer / ISHINOMAKI HOP WORKS (Ishinomaki, Miyagi Prefecture, feat. Yamaroku)
At the venue, the first 50 visitors will receive a special-label tin can, and all guests will also be given an original illustrated card drawn by illustrator Momo Kamei. In addition, Beron is planning to offer a target-shooting game, adding a playful touch befitting an anniversary event.
True to Beron's style of going beyond the usual boundaries of a "standing bar" or a "beer shop" and building on events and collaborations, the anniversary festival also puts its ties with breweries across Tohoku front and center. If you're looking to drink craft beer in the Omachi area, April 4 looks like a day worth watching.
