Two new beers on tap in Inage-Kaigan
WORLD BEER&DINING MIHAMA BASE, a craft beer specialist in Chiba’s Inage-Kaigan area, has added two beers following its regular day off. The venue serves a wide range of domestic and international beers, and also offers bottled and canned beer for takeaway.
The first new tap is Minoh Beer’s Peach Weizen Kawanakajima Ver. from Osaka. Fruity notes from the weizen yeast combine with the aroma of peach, creating an expressive nose and a clear, ripe-peach character. Despite the fruit impression, the finish is dry and crisp rather than sweet. Brewed with the Kawanakajima peach variety, known for firm flesh, rich sweetness and a fragrant aroma, the beer is 5.0% ABV with 12 IBU.
The second is The Labyrinth, an IPA from Societe in California. Its aroma suggests sweet citrus, papaya and mango, with a subtle floral note. On the palate, navel orange, peach and passion fruit meet a gentle pine-like resin character and moderate bitterness. The beer is 7.3% ABV and offers a balanced, fruit-led IPA profile.
A broad draft selection
The day’s draft list also includes Guinness, Kirin Heartland, Hoegaarden White, West Coast Brewing’s Full Hop Alchemist rX, TopaTopa’s Chief Peak IPA, Pizza Port’s Swami’s IPA and Sierra Nevada’s Hazy Little Thing IPA. From approachable classics to hop-forward IPAs, the selection gives drinkers plenty of room to compare styles.
MIHAMA BASE is open from 5 p.m. to 1 a.m. and is closed on Tuesdays. Food last orders are at midnight, while drink orders close at 12:30 a.m. For beer fans visiting Inage-Kaigan, the new peach-forward weizen and vibrant American IPA make a natural two-beer tasting flight.
The venue also held its eighth MIHAMA BBQ on October 12, 2026. Reservations for its 11th-anniversary T-shirts were accepted at the Inage-Kaigan and Makuhari locations through October 19.
