Hansharo Beer Releases Limited-Edition Saison “Osake Man LIGHT” in Collaboration with HILLS FIELD
Hansharo Beer in Izunokuni, Shizuoka Prefecture, has unveiled the limited beer “Osake Man LIGHT,” a collaboration with the camping brand HILLS FIELD. It is a light, easy-drinking 4.0% saison finished with American hops and Belgian yeast.
Shizuoka Prefecture-based Hansharo Beer has announced its limited-release beer, Osake Man LIGHT. The theme this time is making that first drink at camp even more memorable. Created in collaboration with the brand HILLS FIELD, it is a saison that balances a bright hop aroma with a light, crisp drinking experience.
Brewing Points
The base, as with the previous release “Osake Man IPA,” is a generous dose of American hops. By pairing that with a fermentation design that uses Belgian yeast at warmer temperatures, the beer draws out tropical, fruity aromas with clarity. The beer style is Saison, the alcohol content is 4.0%, and the IBU is 10. It has a noticeable aromatic presence, but the body is light, making it easy to keep drinking smoothly.
In the tasting notes, the appearance is described as a brilliant pale yellow. Aromas of lemon, apple, pineapple, and yellow peach rise from the glass, and the tropical-fruit impression grows stronger the more you smell it. On the palate, that impression spreads 그대로, followed by a clean, light drinking finish after the fruity, refreshing flavor. As the name suggests, this is a beer that puts lightness front and center.
For the First Drink at Camp
This beer also matches well with HILLS FIELD’s idea of “turning camping into the best memories.” It is designed so you do not feel worn out by it even under strong sunlight, and it helps switch your mood from the very first toast. Officially, it is also being suggested as a pairing with chikuwa yukke as an appetizer to start the camping experience.
Available package sizes include 10L and 15L kegs, as well as 350ml cans. As expected from Hansharo Beer, which brews craft beer in Nirayama, Izu, the balance between aroma design and drinkability is handled with care. It is a limited release that stays close to outdoor settings while clearly conveying the appeal of saison.
