The beer pub Two Fingers in Nishi-Ikebukuro, Toshima Ward, Tokyo, published a post announcing the final day of part-timer Sakurai-kun. Sakurai-kun will open his own shop, "@aid_station_2025," in Otsuka starting in April, and is diving into the craft beer world. To celebrate his new departure, the bar tapped his favorite Oni Densetsu beer for the day and prepared a farewell pour.
The day's ON TAP NOW list featured the house-brewed "Highway to Helles" and "Garage," along with TWO FINGERS x Tokyo Aleworks's "Hop Gasoline," TWO FINGERS x NAMACHA'n's "Witchaz Smoothie," Route + Branch's "Propeller," CYCAD x Oni Densetsu's "Onisotetsu," Fidens's "Disconnected Realities," Oni Densetsu x Yuya Boys's "Jamboree SP," Thunder Island's "Funky House Party," and WCB's "Nemesis Nectar."
As backups, Fidens's "Alstroemeria," "Free From Doubt," and "QDH Jasper" were also waiting in reserve. With Helles, APA, IPA, smoothie sour, Hazy, double IPA, IPL, sour, and BA imperial stout all covered, it is a lineup that captures Two Fingers's signature mixed tap of house brews and collaborations. For a day when you want to compare a broad range of styles in Ikebukuro, this is one to keep in mind.
