Hansharo Beer Releases a Belgian Wit for Iris Mysteria!’s 8th Anniversary
Hansharo Beer Brewing in Izunokuni, Shizuoka, has announced “Iris Mysteria! 8th Anniversary Beer,” a collaboration celebrating the eighth anniversary of the game Iris Mysteria! The limited Belgian Wit uses amanatsu citrus and coriander for a bright, fruity profile.
A citrus driven anniversary beer
Hansharo Beer Brewing has created “Iris Mysteria! 8th Anniversary Beer” in collaboration with Iris Mysteria! ~The Secret Relics Woven by Girls’ Dreams~. The beer marks the game’s eighth anniversary and is brewed in the Belgian Wit style.
Wheat provides a soft, rounded mouthfeel, while Belgian yeast contributes fruity aromas with a gentle spicy edge. Amanatsu citrus and coriander are added as adjuncts, giving the beer a fresh Japanese citrus character and a bright, aromatic finish.
Fresh amanatsu and an easy finish
The tasting notes describe a vivid aroma reminiscent of freshly cut amanatsu, followed by orange and lemon like fruit notes. Belgian yeast adds floral fruitiness and subtle spice, creating a layered but approachable nose.
On the palate, the beer opens with a smooth wheat texture and sweet tart amanatsu fruit. Refreshing acidity and a light citrus bitterness appear toward the middle, leading to a clean, lively finish. It has an alcohol content of 5.0% ABV and 10 IBU, making it suitable both for a celebratory toast and for relaxed drinking while enjoying the game.
The beer is available in 350 ml cans and 10 liter kegs. Its combination of soft wheat character, expressive Belgian yeast and refreshing citrus makes it an accessible limited release for fans of both Belgian style beer and the game.
