Bibibi. in Daikanyama introduces Mitsume Beer, a small brewery with a taproom
Bibibi., a craft beer pub in Daikanyama, introduced Mitsume Beer as one of its current featured breweries. The small brewery in Kawawa-cho, Yokohama, offers lager, IPA, and porter, along with an attached taproom and bottle sales.
Bibibi.'s latest "brewery on tap" feature focuses on Mitsume Beer in Kawawa-cho, Tsuzuki Ward, Yokohama. The brewery was previously known as OIMA CORNER, which started at the same location in 2020, and was relaunched in 2023 by the same makers under a new name and setup.
Reaching the brewery means transferring onto the subway from Azamino on the Tokyu Den-en-toshi Line, which adds to the sense of a place worth seeking out. The small taproom next to the brewery serves familiar styles such as lager, IPA, and porter, and beer is also sold in bottles.
Because production is limited and wholesale distribution has reportedly been discontinued, Mitsume Beer is not easy to find in ordinary retail channels. That rarity, however, is only part of the story Bibibi. wants to tell. The point is to drink with context: to know who made the beer and why it matters before the first sip.
Bibibi. itself is a Daikanyama craft beer bar that treats beer as something to be enjoyed together with the maker's story. The standing-bar setting is welcoming even for solo visitors, and the atmosphere makes it a good place to slow down and focus on the glass in front of you. This feature fits that philosophy neatly, connecting the bar's ethos with the quietly distinctive character of Mitsume Beer.
