BEER COLONY in Ushijima Honmachi, Toyama City, Toyama Prefecture, has released its latest tap list. The star this time is "Hamaru IPA," newly tapped from California-based Faction in the U.S. The post describes it as a clear, West Coast IPA-style beer, with a strong citrus aroma, moderate bitterness, and the hops used: NZ101 / NZ105 / Ekuanot.
The current six taps are:
- Twin Peaks Mountain "Professor’s Kölsch" (Kolsch)
- Yellow Beer Works "Lemon Sour-san" (Lemon Sour)
- VERTERE × Isekado "Frustum" (Hazy IPA)
- Oni Densetsu "Kin-Oni Pale Ale Comet Single" (Pale Ale)
- Faction "Hamaru IPA" (West Coast IPA)
- North Coast "OLD RASPUTIN" (Russian Imperial Stout)
From a light Kölsch to a tart Lemon Sour to a rich Russian Imperial Stout, the lineup makes it easy to choose based on temperature or time of day. True to a beer pub, it offers enough variety to switch up your first drink of the day, and it’s a lineup that will appeal not only to IPA fans but also to anyone who wants to compare different styles side by side.
In addition, the in-store announcement has also been updated with new canned beer arrivals. BEER COLONY is convenient not just for drinking on-site, but also for taking craft beer home. The post also mentions the event notice for Saturday, March 21, "Spring Nansé JPOP," so the weekend is likely to get even livelier.
