Sakura Taps Releases 8 Taps on March 25, with Daybreaker Running Low
Yokohama beer pub Sakura Taps has updated its service information for March 25. There will be no new tap openings that day, but eight diverse beers from Faló Brewing, West Coast Brewing, and others will be on offer, and Daybreaker and Golem are said to be running low. In step with cherry blossom season, it sounds like the kind of place you’d want to drop into while strolling through the city.
March 25 Service Is a Day to Watch for Beers Running Low
In Sakura Taps’ latest post, Wednesday, March 25 will be an opening at 15:00 and closing at 23:30. There are no new taps being opened, but the beers currently on tap are well stocked, making it a good opportunity for tastings. In particular, “Daybreaker” and “Golem” are said to be running low, so anyone hoping to try them should probably visit early.
Tap List for the Day (8 Beers)
- OBAKE / Faló Brewing
- LEMON RADLER / Baeren Brewery
- Daybreaker / OUR BREWING × GECKO BEER
- Golem / Flora Fermentation
- Sakura Fluffs / PECORA BEER
- Echo Flora / Streetlight Brewing
- Alive / West Coast Brewing
- MIURA SAKURA ALE / MIURA brewery
One of the attractions of this lineup is the range it offers, from IPA styles you can enjoy for their bitterness to seasonal cherry blossom beers. It’s an easy setup for starting with a light first glass and then moving on to fuller-bodied beers later.
Known as a craft beer spot in the Hanasakicho area of Naka Ward, Yokohama, the shop also has a relaxed atmosphere as one of its strengths. It pairs well with the quiet mood of a rainy day in the city, and is also perfect for a short break during cherry blossom season. The post also mentions that the shop is recruiting part-time staff.
