On Saturday, August 22, Sakura Taps announced a new draft beer on Instagram: NZ IPA from Noroshi Brewing. The beer shows aromas of white grape and gooseberry from Nelson Sauvin, layered with citrus from Galaxy. On the palate, it starts with a gentle malt sweetness and a fuller alcoholic body, then slowly opens into the fruit character typical of New Zealand hops.

The post describes it as a classic IPA base rather than a hop-forward, flashy juice bomb. That means the beer is designed to show malt presence as well as hop character, with a calmer, more grounded finish. For drinkers who want to compare NZ hop aromatics with a sturdier IPA structure, this looks like a compelling pour.

Sakura Taps also posted the full tap list for the day, with eight beers on offer:
- LEMENBRAU / Baeren x Highbury
- Yoshidamachi Helles 2026 / Sakura Taps x Numazu Craft
- Nomcraft Pale Ale / Nomcraft Brewing
- Tentaikanbo / Kyoto Brewing x West Coast Brewing
- Salud Amigos! / Grandline Brewing
- NZ IPA / Noroshi Brewing
- Porter / Shiga Kogen Beer
- Da Boy Tommie / DOK BREWING

The Yokohama Yoshidamachi beer pub is known for its relaxed atmosphere, rotating taps, seasonal food, and coffee as well as beer. It is the kind of place where IPA fans and malt-driven beer drinkers can both find something worth lingering over.
