From Kakuchi Asakura in Kyoto's Kamigyo Ward, two Kyoto Brewing beers were introduced as the weekly "Pick up Brewery." This time, the stars are a lineup aimed at delivering a substantial drinking experience.

First to note is Kyoto Brewing's "Rashikunai." Its style is barley wine, ABV 9.0%. The post describes it as having depth reminiscent of caramel and raisins, with a full-bodied finish, making it a beer to sip slowly while following the changes in temperature.

The other is another Kyoto Brewing beer, "Yotei Chowa." A hazy double IPA at ABV 8.0%, it is described as a "go-for-broke" beer that puts hop presence front and center. For IPA fans, being able to choose both a rich beer and an aromatic hazy one at the same time is something not to miss.

The tap list for the day also included the following five craft beers:
- NARA BREWING Co. "ENNUI"
- ZAKKOKUKOUBOU "Rustic Saison-BFM Yeast Ver."
- Shiga Kogen Beer "SHIGA KOGEN HELLES⁉︎"
- Hansharo Beer "Thanks! Westcoast IPA"
- CRAFT BEER BASE "Hop Schema Nectaron"

With breweries and styles spanning a wide range, the lineup was ideal for comparing different beers side by side. Kakuchi Asakura is a shop that combines a liquor store function with standing drinking. Located at 141-3 Higashitembincho, Kamigyo Ward, Kyoto City, it is appealing for everything from quickly enjoying a single drink to slowly comparing different styles.
