Craft Beer Spot Hathor in Osaka’s Kyobashi highlighted a local dish of octopus and eggplant achar paired with Shiga Kogen Beer’s Baby Blonde Miyama. The bar’s draft lineup spans 12 beers, from Asahi Super Dry to domestic and imported craft.
Craft Beer Spot Hathor introduced today’s featured plate on Instagram: "octopus, made this way." The dish is achar made with Hokkaido octopus and eggplant, paired with Shiga Kogen Beer’s "Baby Blonde Miyama," which the bar said it had tapped again after a long break.
The bar’s appeal is its food-friendly, wide-ranging draft selection. This lineup includes 12 beers, starting with Super Dry / Asahi Breweries (Japan), plus Double Swisher / Nara Brewing, Sansho White Ale / Beer Hearn, KASUMI / Shiga Kogen Beer, and 30ss Pale Ale / Minami Shinshu Beer.
The list also features two versions of Kinki Pale Ale from Oni Densetsu Beer, Potion Crusher and Three Factor Authentication from Barebottle, Utsurokeru Ultra Heaven / Ise Kadoya Brewery, and Primal Elements Blueberry & Marionberry / Firestone Walker. It is a balanced tap list for drinking alongside food, with plenty of room for tasting across styles.
