Osaka beer pub Craft Beer Spot Hathor has announced a diverse draft lineup for September 14, featuring 13 beers across several styles.
The highlighted beer is ESB from Ise Kadoya Beer. It uses a generous amount of crystal malt for body and amber color, while English yeast contributes apple- and pear-like fruitiness. Mount Hood, Citra, and Mosaic hops add an American hop character. The beer was designed to retain the softness associated with cask ale while remaining light and approachable on draft.
Another recommended pour is Mugamuchu from Shiga Kogen Beer, an IPA based on pale Maris Otter and pilsner malt with a restrained amount of oats. Its bright golden color and four-hop combination offer a different profile from the malt-forward ESB.
