Do you know the restaurant called "Rumble Fish" inside Busena Terrace? It's a seafood grill at the tip of Busena Misaki, overlooking the East China Sea, and it has a mini brewery attached, so you can drink freshly made craft beer there.

Wait, there's a brewery inside a resort hotel?!
Hop Bro
Exactly. It's the "Chatan Beer" brand that The Terrace Hotels operates in-house. It started in 2016 at Chatan Harbor Brewery & Restaurant in Chatan Town, and the next year they opened a brewery at Rumble Fish as a second location.

Making their own brand beer at two locations? They're serious about this as a hotel!
Hop Bro
The recipes were developed by brewer Shinobu Makimine, who reportedly carried out more than 60 test brews before the opening. Busena Terrace's original is "Busena Gold," a herb-forward ale. Other regular beers include five styles: pale ale, IPA, stout, lager, and weizen.

Sixty trial batches?! That's not a hotel sideshow anymore, that's a real brewery...
Hop Bro
In fact, they've won silver and bronze medals at the Asia Beer Cup and the International Beer Cup. Their beer-making is based on the concept of "Okinawa's nature," with tropical notes in the lager and a rich caramel character in the pale ale.

They've won awards at international competitions! I really want to try it!
Hop Bro
Since Rumble Fish is a seafood-focused restaurant, it's best paired with a seafood platter of oysters and mussels or a Marseille-style bouillabaisse. A glass of Busena Gold on the terrace while watching the sunset over the sea is pure luxury, isn't it?
Mugi
Seafood and freshly brewed beer while looking out at the ocean... I definitely want to go during the operating season every year, from April to October!
