Craft Beer Scissors Akihabara announced its latest tap information in a post on April 19. Newly added is VERTERE’s “Flourite.” Using Lithuanian farmhouse yeast and Brett-type wild yeast, this 4.5% table saison lets you enjoy aromas reminiscent of white fruit in a crisp, refreshing way. It was introduced as a medium-bottle release, and also as a bottle-conditioned beer.

That day’s taps were anchored by Yatsugatake Touchdown. From pilsner, dunkel, Kiyosato Lager, Rock Weizen, Rock Dry Hopped Weizen ver.2, Weizenbock, Yamanashi Peach Weizen, Rock Helles, and Fresh Yuzu Lager, the lineup covered everything from lagers to wheat-beer styles. It is a composition that makes it easy to build a tasting progression, from a light pint to beers with a fuller malt body.

The collaboration beers are also a highlight. Yatsugatake Touchdown x Serverland Akasaka-Mitsuke x Scissors Akihabara’s “102×69~Roggen Roll~,” Yatsugatake Touchdown x Kyoto Brewing’s “Wampaku Kozou,” and also RePubrew’s “AGE AGE SAME AGE” and Jungle Juice’s “Feel Your Monster” are on the list, offering the different expressions you expect from guest beers.

The shop is a beer pub located a little away from the bustle of Akihabara. It is a place that works well both for dropping in casually and for comparing your favorite styles. It also supports takeout in growlers and plastic cups, so if you like what you drink in the shop, you can choose the same beer to take home.
