Bakushuya Pogology, a beer pub in Osaka's Andojimachi, announced on Instagram that it will hold the chicken event "Tori Jiro" on Sunday, April 26. The post also showed that preparations are underway inside the shop, and the day looks set to be one where guests can enjoy chicken dishes and craft beer together.

Today's Beer: A 14-Tap Lineup

The newly posted "Today's Beer" lineup features breweries from Japan and abroad side by side. The confirmed selections are: Nice Bitter / Minoh Beer, Disappeared Blanket / Kyoto Brewing, Iyokan IPA z / Hanamoto Farm / gogoshima beer farm, CAMA x NAMA NEW WORLD IPA / NAMACHA N Brewing, Hibagon / FLORA FERMENTATION, SONAR DROP / AMAKUSA SONAR BEER, Fruit Life / Kyoto Brewing, Session Black IPA / Minoh Beer, CODEBREAKER / Trademark Brewing, Kinki Pale Ale Mosaic Single Ver. / Onidensetsu, Edelpils / Sapporo, LIGHTHOUSEI nitro ver. / Nara Brewing.

A Lineup That Makes Pairing with Chicken Dishes Easy to Picture

On the food side, the offerings include chicken skin ponzu, fried gizzard, quail eggs stewed in black beer, addictive chicken cartilage, pulled chicken guacamole, chilled liver and chive, chicken miso stir-fry, Pogo-taki chicken wings, hormone offal stew, chicken char siu for snacking, chicken cucumber with miso, chicken-stock agedashi tofu, chicken paitan dashimaki omelet, tsukune soup, and chicken paitan ochazuke. Since the snacks are all centered around chicken, it should be easy to build a drinking flow that starts with bitter ales or ales for slow sipping, or switches into IPAs and black IPAs.
