After finishing its Kanto pop-up and returning to normal business, torne_craftbeer announced a tap update in a March 17 post. Located in the Tenroku area of Kita Ward, Osaka, the bar is known for its counter-centered, close-up atmosphere where craft beer and music culture naturally connect.

This time, two new kegs were tapped.

- Signal : EX Pale Ale (Novel Craft Brewing + torne)
- Helles Dr.Lunz (Brauerei Michael Plank)

Signal is an Extra Pale Ale collaboration between Novel Craft Brewing and torne. The post describes it as having the bright character and dank aroma from Citra Cryo and Nelson Sauvin, along with a dry finish. Helles Dr.Lunz, on the other hand, is a dry-hopped Helles made with multiple hop varieties. Rather than flashiness, it leans into clean malt character and refined hop aroma, making it a beer you will want to keep coming back to. With two contrasting kegs arriving at once, it is also easier to build a first beer and a second beer, which is part of the appeal.

The tap list for the day includes several Novel Craft Brewing beers, along with a nitro version from Minoh Beer, Inkhorn Brewing, and Oud Beersel. Spanning domestic and international offerings, the lineup covers trendy hoppy styles, light wheat beers, and Belgian-style sour notes, giving it a very wide range for tasting side by side.

In addition, a new event, "Taproom Cinema Club 〜Film, Sound & Craft Beer〜", is scheduled for March 20 starting at 16:00. The concept turns the venue into a one-night-only mini cinema, an experimental session where film, sound, and craft beer can be enjoyed together. It is notable as an effort to layer cultural value on top of the bar's usual appeal as a place to drink.

Bringing the energy from its pop-up back into the venue while putting care into both the beer and the event concept, this week's torne_craftbeer update is one craft beer fans will want to keep an eye on.
