Nogata NEIGHBOR Updates Its Taps Alongside Weekend Lunch

At "NEIGHBOR craftbeer&grill," a beer pub in Nogata, Nakano-ku, Tokyo, weekend lunch service is also available. The post notes that the pasta has been changed to Aglio e olio with sakura shrimp and savoy cabbage, and that jerk chicken rice is also on offer. The beer lineup, centered on IPA, shows a total of eight taps.

Two Newly Opened Beers

In that day’s "New on TAP," CRAFTROCK BREWING Jam Session 2 / Fruit Session IPA (5.5%) and Minoh Beer Sansho W-IPA / Double IPA (9%) made their debut. The former is introduced as a session IPA with tropical aromas reminiscent of mango and coconut, while the latter is described as a beer characterized by the spiciness of sansho pepper and firm bitterness. With two beers that differ greatly in drinking direction, IPA fans will likely enjoy comparing them.

The Rest of the Taps

The lineup also includes Kagiya Brewery 003 Mellow Yellow IPA / Hazy IPA (6%), Cycad Brewing Hanami / Sakura Saison (6%), Shiokaze Blue Lab Bakuzan / Best Bitter (4.5%), O'Hara's Brewery Irish Red / Red Ale (4.3%), FLORA FERMENTATION Waldschrat / Schwarz Weizen (5.5%), and Cycad Brewing Riedlei3 / Amber IPA (6.5%).

With Hazy IPA, Sakura Saison, Best Bitter, Red Ale, Schwarz Weizen, and Amber IPA all on tap, it’s an easy place to choose according to your mood, which feels very much like NEIGHBOR. The food focuses on grilled dishes and pasta, making it easy to pair a meal with craft beer. In the Nogata area, this is a place that works whether you want to drink seriously or enjoy a meal at the center of your visit.
