Ten beers on tap in Mitaka
Beer Pub Neko to Azarashi in Mitaka has announced its tap list for Sunday, October 11, with service from 3 p.m. to 10 p.m. The selection brings together local beer and breweries from across Japan, led by the returning Azarashi Pilsner from And Beer and Mitaka Yamaneko Brewing.
The list includes Shiga Kogen Beer’s FreshHopBlonde, a blonde ale featuring fresh hops, and Miyazaki Hideji Beer’s Kyushu Craft Kabosu, a refreshing fruit ale with kabosu citrus. Yokohama Beer’s Pale Ale and Iwate Kura Beer’s Golden Ale are also available, although the Golden Ale is listed as running low.
For malt-forward and German-style options, guests can choose Oyama G’s Weizen or Helles Uncle Karl, a dry-hopped helles from Plank Brewery. GRANDTAP RED offers an American amber lager profile, while Ushitorah’s “苦そうで苦くない 少し苦いシュバルツ” brings a gently roasty schwarzbier character. Ushitorah’s Kanmuryou Session IPA rounds out the selection with a lighter hop-driven option.
Food recommendations include chestnut pound cake, chicken-skin ponzu, salted boiled peanuts, and quiche-style omelet. The combination of varied beer styles and casual pub food makes the lineup suitable for a relaxed tasting session.
