New craft beer arrivals have landed at Mercato Mabuchi in the Daiichidori area of Naka Ward, Hamamatsu City, Shizuoka Prefecture. This time, a total of 10 selections have arrived from four breweries: WCB, Totopia Brewery, VERTERE, and Nobody Brewing. The range spans from rich, full-bodied styles to refreshing ones, making it easy to choose based on your mood or meal.

WCB delivers plenty of rich and hop-forward beers

From WCB, the arrivals include The Gateway, an ultra-rich stout with banana and coconut at the forefront, and The Gateway:Eternal, blended with base beer aged for about four years in whiskey barrels. Also in stock are Project: NZ04, brewed with New Zealand hops harvested in 2026 and flown in by air, and The Lupulin Tree, a tropical and juicy Hazy IPA. The lineup offers both depth and brightness.

Totopia Brewery brings two collaboration beers

From Totopia Brewery, the arrivals are Diffusiophilia, a collaboration with VERTERE, and Clawphobia, notable for its peach-nectar character. Diffusiophilia stands out for its aroma of ripe citrus and delicate drinking texture, giving it a special feel that comes with a collaboration. Clawphobia has a silky, full-bodied drinking experience and is suited to those looking for a robust flavor.

VERTERE releases its third collaboration with Totopia

In the VERTERE lineup, Collectiophobia, the third collaboration with Totopia, has arrived. It is presented as a Hazy-style beer that drinks lightly while still offering bright tropical notes and creaminess. Including the background of the collaboration, it is a bottle that adds enjoyment to side-by-side tasting.

Nobody Brewing ranges from food-friendly to playful

From Nobody Brewing, the lineup includes Benitoa(8), a blonde ale with aromas of white grapes and pear; The Glitch, an IPL that combines the crispness of lager with the aromatic character of IPA; and The Leftfield, a DDH IPA with a tropical and dank profile. Benitoa(8) pairs easily with meals, while The Glitch works well as an everyday drink. The Leftfield is for those looking for an IPA with a bit more personality.

If you're looking for craft beer in Hamamatsu's Daiichidori area, this diverse new lineup is not to be missed. From rich stout to IPA that lets you feel the freshness of hops, and even blonde ale that pairs well with food, it is packed with the joy of choosing the right weekend bottle.
