And Beer, a brewpub in Koenji, Suginami City, will celebrate its 9th anniversary with an event running from Wednesday, September 2 to Sunday, September 6.
According to the post, the shop will mark nine years since opening on August 26, 2026, and is planning the event as a way to thank everyone who has visited over the years.
Food offerings will also be anniversary-themed. A nine-curry plate will be available only at lunch from Friday, September 4 through Sunday, September 6. From September 2 to 6, the shop also plans to serve a different special biryani each day, including a possible sea bream broth biryani.
On the beer side, three anniversary beers will be tapped at the same time on September 2. The lineup includes a weizen made with Delaware grapes from Nabari, Mie; a 9th Anniversary IPA built with five chilies, four spices, and nine layers of aroma; and a saison brewed in collaboration with Gomi Shoyu using koji. The lineup highlights fruit, spice, and fermentation character in a way that should appeal to beer-focused visitors.
The venue sits in the residential streets north of Koenji Station, and anniversary goods such as T-shirts, aprons, socks, and growler tickets are also in preparation.
