True to the brewery’s style of promoting the appeal of Yamagata through craft beer made with spring water nurtured by Zao’s great nature, this summer event takes advantage of an open-air setting.
At the venue, food that pairs well with chilled craft beer will be available. The post introduces items such as Zao beef steak, Western-style fried dumplings, and a variety of craft beers, making it a setup where guests can enjoy food and beer together. Another attraction unique to this venue is being able to spend time looking out over the Zao scenery from dusk into night.
Advance tickets are limited in quantity, with a set of four 750-yen tickets offered at 2,700 yen instead of the usual 3,000 yen. Sales begin on Monday, May 25, starting around 10:30 at the main store and from 20:00 at the online store. Same-day tickets will also be sold at the venue.
In terms of access, a free shuttle bus is scheduled to run from the west exit of Yamagata Station to the venue, making it easy to visit from Yamagata Station. ZAO BREWERY, Yamagata City’s first craft beer brewery, also operates the restaurant "Crang Dining." As a base connecting local ingredients and beer, it will fully showcase that identity at this beer garden as well.
