Golden Garden, a beer pub in Hiroshima's Shintenchi district, has announced a food menu revision following rising ingredient costs. Golden Garden, a beer pub in Hiroshima's Shintenchi area, has shared an Instagram update on its pricing and food menu. In response to rising ingredient costs, the venue is revising its food offerings, while also introducing a limited-time value set that pairs draft beer with a three-item snack plate through the end of September.
The lineup is built for easy beer-and-food pairing. The regular "today's snack platter" is priced at 1,700 yen, while a one-person three-item platter is available for 1,100 yen. The menu includes:
- Chilled oden
- Cold tomato chowder with noodles
- Whitebait tempura with seaweed
- Fried cartilage
- Japanese-style sauerkraut
- Butter chicken curry
For beer fans, the daily happy hour until 7 p.m. is also noteworthy. It covers draft beer from the pub's own HIROSHIMA NEIGHBORLY BREWING, making it a practical stop for an after-work pint. The post also noted that bottles of "Rinki Ouhen" from the HIROSHIMA BARREL RELAY PROJECT are back in stock, which should catch the attention of drinkers following barrel-aged releases.
As a beer pub in central Hiroshima, Golden Garden continues to position itself as an accessible place to drink craft beer with food, whether you're stopping in for a quick pint or settling in for a few rounds.
