Ohori Brewery to Host Curry and Craft Beer Collaboration on June 20
Ohori Brewery, located along Ohori Park in Fukuoka City, will host “CURRY x CRAFT BEER at OHORI BREWERY” on June 20. The collaboration with the yam will pair spice-forward dishes with the brewery’s core and seasonal beers.
Ohori Brewery, a microbrewery by Ohori Park in Fukuoka City, will hold a collaboration event on Saturday, June 20, from 1:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. The brewery announced the event on Instagram as “CURRY x CRAFT BEER at OHORI BREWERY”, created together with the yam.
The brewery itself is known for having a restaurant space inside the brewery and for serving its house beers, including the flagship OHORI IPA and OHORI SOUR. That background makes this event a natural fit: food and beer are being presented not as separate items, but as a matched experience.
According to the post, the food lineup includes black sesame dan dan keema curry, Pakistani-style mutton curry, ate curry (roux only), assorted sides, devil chicken, garlic shrimp, cumin edamame, and jalapeño pickles. The menu leans into spice and small plates that should pair well with beer.
The beer lineup is planned to include OHORI SOUR, OHORI IPA, BALTIC PORTER, BELGIAN WIT, HELLES, and IMPERIAL PILSNER. With styles ranging from tart and hop-forward to malty and crisp, the event looks designed to let guests explore different combinations with the curry dishes.
For a brewery that has built its identity around both brewing and dining in the Ohori area, this collaboration highlights what Ohori Brewery does best: bringing fresh beer and food together in one place.
