The set, supervised by Chef Keita Komai of NIPPONIA HOTEL Hakodate Minatomachi, features three charcuterie dishes designed to match the beer.
ozigi brewing Hakodate Beer Brewery, located in Suehiro-cho, Hakodate, will launch a limited special menu to mark its fifth anniversary. Starting on July 25, the brewery will offer a set menu paired with its anniversary beer, "Hakodate LAGER 1882."
The menu was supervised by Chef Keita Komai of NIPPONIA HOTEL Hakodate Minatomachi. It focuses on charcuterie built around beer pairing and includes three items:
- Hokkaido pork ham
Moist in texture and full of pork flavor; mustard can be added to taste.
- Pâté de campagne
A rich, mellow dish layered with the deep umami of chicken liver.
- Salmon rillettes
Smooth in texture with a subtle smoky aroma, made to work especially well with beer.
The menu is sold as a set with "Hakodate LAGER 1882," making the beer the center of the experience. For a brewery celebrating its fifth year, the pairing offers a straightforward way to enjoy both the house beer and the food.
The brewery is at 16-13 Suehiro-cho, Hakodate, Hokkaido. Opening hours are 5:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. on weekdays and 2:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays, with no regular day off.
