A Casual Place to Enjoy Craft Beer in Ikebukuro

Located two minutes on foot from Ikebukuro Station's East Exit, P-144 × Citraba is a beer pub spread from the basement level to the second floor. The store combines Citraba's Koenji-born sense of warm, neighborhood-rooted comfort with the atmosphere of P-144 as an Ikebukuro community hub, creating a space that balances approachability with the ability to linger.

From a beer perspective, the biggest draw is the rotating draft craft beer served daily. Rather than fixing the lineup, the appeal of this place is enjoying whatever is on tap that day. In addition, it offers 10 kinds of craft lemon sours made with lemon, which makes for an interesting drinking style centered on beer but also built around the refreshing brightness of citrus.

On the food side, alongside the signature Citraba Chicken, the menu includes extra-thick fresh pasta and authentic Italian small plates that are easy to snack on. Pairing beer with pasta keeps things from becoming too heavy, and the lineup is designed so you can keep drinking at a good pace by alternating with fried dishes and appetizers. A first drink of a hop-aromatic beer, then switching to lemon sour from the second round onward, also fits naturally.

The interior is designed to accommodate everything from solo drinks at the counter, small groups at tables, to gatherings in private rooms. With 71 seats plus standing room, its flexibility is another strength. Hours run until 11:30 p.m., so it should be easy to use for an after-work pint or as a second stop during a dinner outing.

P-144 × Citraba has also run commemorative brewing projects in the past. For example, at opening it announced an original beer brewed with amanatsu citrus from Yago Farm in Odawara, and for its first anniversary it introduced "CHERRY SOUR" in collaboration with T.Y.HARBOR BREWERY. Paired with the rotating taps, it is the kind of place that makes you want to keep chasing "the one drink you can only have today."
