Craft beer in the Okutama autumn air

VERTERE will hold OKUTAMA BEER FEST 2026 over two days, October 31 and November 1, at its brewery site in Okutama, Tokyo. The venue will provide around 200 seats, along with a free area where visitors can use their own camping chairs or picnic sheets. The event is designed for enjoying beer, food, and the gradually deepening autumn colors of Okutama.

The participating breweries are VERTERE from Tokyo, Kyoto Brewing from Kyoto, Nara Brewing from Nara, TOTOPIA from Aichi, West Coast Brewing from Shizuoka, and ZAKKOKU KOUBOU from Saitama. The source article does not specify individual beer names or styles, but the six-brewery lineup should allow visitors to compare beers from distinct regions and brewing approaches. VERTERE Brewery & Bottle Shop will also sell original merchandise and canned beers from the guest breweries.

Visitors arriving between 10:45 and 11:15 a.m. will receive an OBF2026 hand towel with an event-exclusive design. A delivery service for purchased items and luggage will be available, and a special shuttle bus will operate from Okutama Station.

The festival runs from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on both days. Doors open at 10:45 a.m.; the food last order is at 4:30 p.m., while beer service ends at 5 p.m. Admission is free.

Tendo Brewery (Ichiraku), a brewpub in Tendo, Yamagata, is another example of a beer destination where local travel and brewery culture meet. For craft beer fans who enjoy visiting brewpubs and taprooms, this Okutama event offers a chance to experience several regional breweries in one natural setting while exploring local food and scenery.
