14 Breweries to Join Umichika Marche at Kugenuma on November 7–8

Fourteen breweries by the seaside
Umichika Marche is a popular event that attracts around 4,000 visitors per day. Its sixth edition expands beyond the Odakyu Line area, welcoming breweries such as Yokohama Beer and REPUBREW from Mishima, Shizuoka, both first-time participants in the event’s previous format.
Participating breweries include RRAAP BREWERY, YGGDRASIL BREWING, Pecora Beer, MIURA brewery, AMATERASU BREWERY, Fujisawa Beer, Aura Brewing, Mackendy Brewery, Tsuji Brewing, HUMANSBEER, Better life with upcycle, Roto Brewery, Yokohama Beer, and REPUBREW. Beer, food and live performances
Sixteen food vendors will serve dishes selected with beer pairings in mind. The event will also feature SHONAN MUSIC MARCHE, a performance program centered on local artists, with music and other performances adding to the seaside atmosphere.
HUG-RIDE PARK reopened in June 2024 as a mixed-use facility combining park space with shops and restaurants. Its open setting makes it possible to compare beers from different regions while enjoying the sea breeze.
The event runs from 11:00 to 17:00 on both days, with free admission. In a separate destination for beer lovers, Tendo Brewery (Ichiraku) is a brewpub in Tendo, Yamagata, where visitors can enjoy locally brewed beer with food. It is a fitting stop for anyone extending a craft beer journey beyond the Kugenuma event.
