The beer pub "Minna no Craft Beer Bar Ryogoku/Kuramae" in Ishiwara, Sumida Ward, Tokyo, has updated its tap list. In this post, the lineup is centered on Saitama-based U.B.P Brewing, with six beers from the brewery on tap.

The highlight is "Saihaku" (Belgian Wit)

The beer featured especially in the post is Saihaku / Belgian Wit. This white beer uses barley from Saitama Prefecture and is said to be characterized by the bright aroma of orange peel. With its light body and fragrant finish, it is an easy choice for a first drink as temperatures begin to rise.

Current taps (as listed in the post)

- Step Over (IPA)
- Drop Kick (DIPA)
- Kickoff Pils (Pilsner)
- Hazy Celebration (Hazy DIPA)
- URAWA CITY ALE (Bitter)
- Saihaku (Belgian Wit)

From hop-forward IPAs to a clean pilsner, a mildly bitter Bitter, and a spicy wit, the strength of this lineup is its wide range of flavors. For beer fans looking for a place in the Ryogoku/Kuramae area where tasting side by side is the point, this is a lineup not to miss.

The post also mentions an upcoming BLACK TIDE BREWING tap takeover on April 4, as well as another TTO by a Chiba brewery scheduled for May 23. It looks like a good idea to enjoy U.B.P Brewing in current regular service while also getting ready for the next event.
