VANAVASA announces the Fujisawa beer fest and Kamakura shop hours at the same time

In an Instagram post, VANAVASA (Onari-cho, Kamakura City, Kanagawa Prefecture) announced that it was also setting up at the Fujisawa beer fest that day, while also noting that the Kamakura shop was operating as usual. The post text said, "Today, 4/5 (Sun), we're open until 7 p.m.," and offered craft beer to go in Kamakura, where the cherry blossoms were still in full bloom.

The beers that can be confirmed are three new PASSIFIC BREWING releases

In the post image, three PASSIFIC BREWING cans are lined up. The lineup consists of "CITRUSH (6.0%)," an IPA made with citrus, "POMB (5.5%)," a dry-hopped sour, and "FRYING ORGANS (4.5%)," a flying sour ale.

All are new releases from the same brewery, with a range from an aromatic IPA to light, easy-drinking sour styles. Rather than just one glass, tasting them side by side makes it easier to see each beer's direction. "CITRUSH" in particular seems to emphasize citrus notes from hassaku and yuzu, making it a good fit for people looking for fruity bitterness. "POMB" and "FRYING ORGANS," on the other hand, are easier choices when you want to enjoy a sharper sour profile.

A day to enjoy together with the shop atmosphere

From the photos, you can see cans and glasses neatly arranged on wooden shelves and at the counter, conveying the relaxed atmosphere of a neighborhood beer pub. VANAVASA appears to be proposing new beers at the shop while also running event booths in parallel. Whether to drink at the Fujisawa event venue or savor them carefully at the Kamakura shop. On April 5, both options were on the table.
