At the beer pub "Sakura Taps" in Hanasakicho, Naka Ward, Yokohama, three draft beers were newly tapped.

The three beers now on tap are Bighand Bros. Beer "Kurgantaite", Black Tide Brewing "Kesennuma Pride ver. 12.1", and Shiokaze Brew Lab "Shibakuzo! 2026". Each has a distinct character, making for a lineup that invites a wide-ranging tasting comparison.

- Kurgantaite / Bighand Bros. Beer
English Pale Ale. Biscuit- and caramel-like malt aromas mingle with fresh herbal notes and earthy hop aromatics, followed by the umami of the malt and a tightening bitterness.
- Kesennuma Pride ver. 12.1 / Black Tide Brewing
IPA. Brewed with Citra and Chinook, it brings refreshing citrus, piney notes, and a dank impression, while also offering a balanced malt presence and juiciness.
- Shibakuzo! 2026 / Shiokaze Brew Lab
American Strong Ale. Characterized by a full-bodied mouthfeel from generous amounts of malt and hops, this is a beer you can enjoy all the way through the lingering bitterness.

Sakura Taps is a calm, relaxed spot on the second floor of Noraneko Street in Yoshidacho. It offers eight rotating craft beer taps every day, and one of its defining features is that you can also enjoy hand-drip coffee, not just beer. The atmosphere makes it a place where you can slow down while keeping beer at the center.

For food, the seasonal vegetable beer fritter has been switched to young corn. It is fried in a beer batter and finished with house-smoked salt, a style that should pair well with this tap lineup. From refreshing IPAs to strong ales with malty depth, this day's Sakura Taps is a good choice when you want to enjoy both food and beer together.
