Beer Cafe Barley, a beer pub in Nishinomiya, Hyogo, will host its annual Oktoberfest from Friday, October 9 through Sunday, October 18. The event has been held every year since the pub opened and reaches its 22nd edition this year. The pub will be closed on Tuesday, October 13, and the festival beers will be served during regular business hours.

The draft lineup is scheduled to include Plank Helles Dulcita, Plank Helles Ankelkarl, Plank Grandpa Plank Weissbier, Schneider TAP-4 Festweisse, Weltenburger Anno, Minami Shinshu Beer Ogna OKTOBERFEST, Ise Kadoya Beer Oktoberfest, and Kyoto Brewing Kanpai. Beers will be rotated throughout the event, so availability may change and individual selections may sell out.

Bottle selections will include Plank Pilsarl and Schlenkerla Grodziski. The lineup offers a range of experiences, from crisp Helles and wheat-forward Weissbier to fuller seasonal festival beers, making the event well suited to comparison tasting.

Food planned for the festival includes Bamberger Zwiebel, Eisbein, and Flammkuchen. On October 9, the festival food service is scheduled to begin at 5 p.m. Beer Cafe Barley also plans to offer a special reward for guests who complete the entire beer lineup; the conditions will be listed in the menu book.
