The 'Koge Ekimae Pratt Beer: Taiwan Asian Night Market' will be held on Sunday, Aug. 2, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the front of JR Koge Station. According to the Tottori City tourism site, this year’s version of the long-running Koge Ekimae beer festival takes on a Taiwan night-market theme, with beer, Asian-style food, and a stage program.

Ten Forward is a brew pub and guesthouse based in Uradome, Iwami Town, Tottori Prefecture. The business was created by self-renovating a retro vacant house on the coast, and it operates as both a place to stay and a place to drink its own craft beer. Its house brand, IWAMI BLUE BEER, is brewed with local water and regional ingredients.

Ten Forward also appears in the event’s vendor announcements, linking a coastal brewery in Iwami with a station-front summer night market in Yazu. For beer fans, it is a clear example of how a local brewery can help shape the character of a regional event.
