On Thursday, August 13, Beerbar Festa Shimokitazawa opened at 6 p.m. and added Minoh Beer’s "Hoppy Weizen" as a new tap. The beer is a wheat-style release that layers hop character over the aroma of a classic weizen. The bar framed it as a style it personally likes, and the schedule leans late: last call is set for 4 a.m. The shop sits on the fifth floor in Shimokitazawa, so it works well as a place to settle in and follow the tap changes at a relaxed pace.

The day’s draft list covered both domestic and imported beers.

- Domestic: Shiga Kogen Beer’s "Shiga Kogen IPA ver2.03 Center of the Universe," Shiga Kogen Beer’s "Shiga Kogen IPA ver2.03 Center of the Universe Real Ale Ale," Minoh x Yorocco’s "Compass," Shonan Beer’s "IPA American Style," Houjou’s "Stout," T.Y. Harbor’s "Kanpai West Coast Pilsner," and the regular "Heartland."
- Imported: Revision’s "Revision DIPA," Deux Cieux’s "Moralite," and DDC!’s "ロゼ・ディビスキュス."

A few beers were marked as nearly sold out, and the bar also listed upcoming names such as Migration, Sierra Nevada, Y Market, Sankt Gallen, and Repbrew. For beer drinkers who like watching taps move, this is the kind of Shimokitazawa bar that rewards repeat visits.
